The Davidson Sheen Law Firm represents clients in appeals in courts across the State of Texas and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Our appellate attorneys have been successful in bringing and defending appeals throughout the various courts of appeals in Texas, handling multi-million dollar disputes over final judgments, jury verdicts, bench trials, and trial-court rulings. The firm regularly litigates appeals dealing with business transactions and disputes, breaches of contracts, defamation, election contests, tortious interference, and causes of action brought under the Texas Citizens Participation Act (TCPA) or Texas’ so-called “anti-SLAPP” law. The firm has been hired as outside appellate counsel by respected law firms with offices across the state because of our team’s attention to detail, appellate knowledge, and familiarity with Texas appellate courts and procedure. We also serve as appellate counsel when cases are still in the trial court, to preserve and protect the record, should an appeal be necessary.
