Carter Bowers

Carter is a proud third-generation attorney from Lubbock, Texas. The focuses of his practice include general civil litigation, probate, estate planning, real estate, general business representation, business/commercial litigation and company disputes, business entity formation, contested probates and estates, fiduciary litigation, guardianship law, and personal injury matters.

Carter graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History with Honors and a Minor in Political Science. In May 2016, Carter graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Upon graduation, Carter served as a briefing attorney for a one-year term under United States Magistrate Judge D. Gordon Bryant, Jr. Carter then joined Brad J. Davidson Law Firm, P.C. in August 2017, where he continued his career serving his hometown.

In January 2019, the Brad J. Davidson Law Firm of Lubbock merged with the Sheen Law Firm, P.C. of Odessa to form Davidson Sheen, LLP. Carter worked as an associate attorney for Davidson Sheen from that time until January 2023, continuing to develop his practice independently and in conjunction with the firm’s partners. In January 2023, Carter was designated as a “Partner” of Davidson Sheen, LLP.

Carter received his license to practice law in November 2016. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Lubbock Bar Association, and the Lubbock County Young Lawyers Association. Ever a West Texan and Red Raider, Carter is grateful and excited to continue to perform work for his clients in West Texas, the Permian Basin, and wherever else there may be a need.
