Bryan joined Davidson Sheen, LLP in January 2020 where he serves clients in Odessa, Midland, and the greater Permian Basin/South Plains region from Davidson Sheen, LLP’s Odessa office. Bryan focuses his practice on business and commercial transactions, commercial and residential real estate, probate, wills and trusts, and general oil and gas law. Bryan also has experience in commercial litigation/collections and advises clients in a wide variety of ongoing business and contractual matters.
Bryan graduated cum laude from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013 and has been licensed to practice in Texas since November of 2013. Bryan was sworn in by the Supreme Court of New Mexico and licensed to practice law in the state courts of New Mexico in 2014. He brings six years of experience practicing law as an associate at a well established law firm in Odessa, Texas , where he represented and advised clients in a variety of legal matters including business formation, asset/stock purchase and sale transactions, commercial litigation, commercial and residential real estate, oil and gas transactions for landowners and operators, oil and gas related collections and litigation, wills, probate, estate administration, estate planning, and federal and state tax audits of businesses and individuals.
Bryan grew up in Midland, Texas and comes from a proud West Texas family. He is a strong believer in serving and giving back to his local community. Bryan is a member of Young Professionals of Odessa, a program of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, and is a former member of the Board of Directors. He served as the Board Chairman in 2017 and Treasurer in 2018, spearheading the establishment of the annual Odessa Under 40 awards. Bryan is a member of the 2019 Odessa Under 40 class after nomination by his peers and selection by an esteemed panel of judges from the Odessa, Texas community. He has also been the Chairman of Young Professionals of Odessa’s Service Committee, as well as the Fundraising Committee
Bryan’s commitment to service extends beyond Young Professionals. His resume includes service as a Catholic Charities of Odessa Board Member (2015-2016), the Ector County Bar Association President (2016-2017) and Treasurer (2015-2016), Ector County Service to the Bar Award winner for 2015-2016, United Way Legal Committee Chair for 2016 and 2017, and Ector County Young Lawyers President and Treasurer. Bryan also served on the board of the Texas Young Lawyers Association for District 17 where he was awarded the TYLA President’s Award of Merit for 2015-2016.
Bryan has volunteered his time to Legal Aid of Northwest Texas as pro bono counsel, to West Texas Food Bank, to Keep Odessa Beautiful and Adopt-a-Spot, and has served as a speaker for UTPB’s professional speaker series. Bryan has also volunteered his time playing cello with the UTPB Symphony Orchestra.
